Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born 13 June 1962 in the US, is an actor. Following her film debut in 1983's Bad Boys she became known as a member of the Brat Pack actors and starred in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy was awarded with the Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead for her role in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy is an American writer and actress. She started her film career early in the 1980s with the film based on a crime drama Bad Boys, for which she received a lot of praise. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie, which also featured prominent actors Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. After her debut film She was in 1985's comedy and drama The Breakfast Club. John Hughes' film is widely regarded as one of the greatest high school films of all-time. While the budget for the film was only $1 million it made more than $50 million in profits. In the meantime, she was also being featured in various shows on TV such as CBS Schoolbreak which was her television debut. The show was designed for teens and aired from April 1980. Also, she appeared on various television shows like Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. The most recent of her appearances is Little Sister, a film about a super hero where Sheedy is the role of a tiny cameo. Sheedy has been praised for her outstanding performances. has been awarded numerous times, including an MTV Movie Award for Silver Bucket of Excellence Award in 2005.
